| - Alwyn Louis Schlebusch (16 September 1917 – 7 January 2008) was a South African politician, the only holder of the title Vice State President of South Africa from 1 January 1981 to 14 September 1984. He was an Afrikaner with a surname of German origin. He was born in Lady Grey, Eastern Cape. He was the son of Charel Johannes Schlebusch and Elizabeth Cornelia Myburgh and eldest brother of Charel Johannes Schlebusch, Elsie Cornelia Schlebusch and Anna Christina Schlebusch. (en)

Er hatte in den 1970er und 1980er Jahren zahlreiche Ministerämter Südafrikas inne und war von 1981 bis 1984 der einzige Vizestaatspräsident (vice state president) in der Geschichte des Landes. Schlebusch entstammte einer Afrikaaner-Familie, die auf ein nach Südafrika emigriertes Mitglied der Familie von Schlebusch, Namensgeberin von Leverkusen-Schlebusch, zurückführbar ist. W latach 40. był burmistrzem , następnie członkiem parlamentu z Kroonstad (1962-1980) oraz jego przewodniczącym, ministrem robót publicznych i imigracji (1976) oraz ministrem sprawiedliwości i spraw wewnętrznych (1979).
