Air Enthusiast was a British, bi-monthly, aviation magazine, published by the Key Publishing group. Initially begun in 1974 as Air Enthusiast Quarterly, the magazine was conceived as a historical adjunct to Air International magazine. Air International was (and still is) involved with current aviation topics and the Quarterly concerned itself with historical matters. The magazine was published by three publishing companies and changed editors once, with William Green and Gordon Swanborough as joint editors for 16 years and Ken Ellis as the current sole editor of 16 years also.

Původně začal vycházet pod názvem Air Enthusiast Quarterly v roce 1974 jako doplněk k časopisu Air International (věnovaného současnému letectví) zaměřený na historii letectví. Během své existence byl časopis postupně vydáván třemi různými vydavatelskými společnostmi, a jednou vyměnil šéfredaktora. Prvních šestnáct let jeho existence tuto funkci spoluzastávali William Green a Gordon Swanborough, v roce 1991 vystřídaní na dalších šestnáct let Kenem Ellisem. Časopis přestal vycházet v září 2007, kdy vyšlo jako poslední číslo 131. (cs)

La pubblicazione ebbe inizio nel 1974 con il titolo di Air Enthusiast Quarterly, concepita come supplemento storico alla rivista Air International. Quest'ultima era (ed è tuttora) coinvolta nei temi dell'aviazione moderna e il Quarterly si occupava di questioni storiche. | - Air Enthusiast byl britský časopis o letectví, vydávaný skupinou . Původně začal vycházet pod názvem Air Enthusiast Quarterly v roce 1974 jako doplněk k časopisu Air International (věnovaného současnému letectví) zaměřený na historii letectví. Každé vydání mělo rozsah 80 stran, následkem toho některé články vycházely na pokračování v několika po sobě následujících číslech. Air Enthusiast byl ilustrován černobílými i barevnými fotografiemi, diagramy, plánky, kresbami a třípohledovými profily. Raná vydání obsahovala i průřezové pohledy na letouny, ale od nich bylo později upuštěno. Články se v detailech zaobíraly řadou letadel i událostí. Během své existence byl časopis postupně vydáván třemi různými vydavatelskými společnostmi, a jednou vyměnil šéfredaktora.
