- Prof. Dr. Aidul Fitriciada Azhari, S.H., M.Hum. (lahir 1 Januari 1968) adalah Ketua Komisi Yudisial sejak tahun 2016 menggantikan Suparman Marzuki. Sebelum menjadi Ketua Komisi Yudisial (KY), Aidul memulai karier sejak tahun 1993 sebagai dosen di Fakultas Hukum Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta (UMS). Sebagai akademisi, ayah tiga anak ini pernah menjabat sebagai Ketua Program Magister Ilmu Hukum Program Pasca Sarjana UMS pada tahun 2005-2006 sebelum akhirnya menjadi Dekan pada tahun 2006-2010 di Fakultas Hukum UMS. Suami dari Ami Utami Permatasari ini juga aktif sebagai peneliti di Institute for Democracy of Indonesia Jakarta sebagai Ketua Divisi HAM pada tahun 2003-2010. (in)

| - Aidul Fitriciada Azhari became chairman of the Judicial Commission of Indonesia in 2016. Azhari has been referred to as a dark horse due to the fact that he initially hadn't been nominated nor had he volunteered to be the Judicial Commission's chairman. Two other candidates were rejected by the People's Representative Council before his confirmation. Azhari's tenure has been strict. In the summer of 2016, the Judicial Commission offered fewer nominations for the Supreme Court of Indonesia and the corruption courts than the Supreme Court had requested; Azhari explained that not enough of the candidates under consideration actually met the Commission's minimum criteria for the positions. Azhari promoted the idea of studying other judicial systems such as those of Australia, Turkey and the United States to learn best practices. Specifically, Azhari pointed to the purge of 6,000 judges by the Supreme Board of Judges and Prosecutors after the 2016 Turkish coup d'état attempt as a positive example of the exercise of external oversight of a judiciary. Pendidikan S3 diselesaikan di jurusan Hukum Tata Negara, Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia pada tahun 2005. Untuk meningkatkan keilmuannya, pria yang menghabiskan masa sekolahnya di Tasikmalaya ini aktif menulis buku dan jurnal ilmiah serta mengikuti pelatihan di dalam maupun luar negeri. Salah satu paper yang ditulisnya pada International Conference of Philosophy History di Istanbul, 14-15 Mei 2015 berjudul “The Philosophy of Manunggaling Kawula Gusti: From Javanese Mysticism to the Indonesian State Ideology”. Pemilik moto hidup “Etika laksana bintang yang memandu para peziarah malam yang membutuhkan langit jernih untuk dapat melihatnya” ini juga aktif dalam organisasi sosial. Ia aktif di Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) sebagai Ketua HMI Cabang Bandung pada tahun 1991-1992 dan Wakil Ketua PB HMI pada tahun 1992-1993. Ia juga pernah menjabat Wakil Ketua Majelis Hukum, HAM, dan Kebijakan Publik Pimpinan Wilayah Muhammadiyah (PWM) Jawa Tengah tahun 2010-2015. (in)
