Abercraf (English: Abercrave) is a village within the historic boundaries of the county of Brecknockshire, Wales, administered as part of the unitary authority of Powys, and in the community of Ystradgynlais. Between 1965 and 1991, the village was the location of a Royal Observer Corps monitoring bunker, to be used in the event of a nuclear attack. It remains mostly intact.

I pozzi di carbone della vicina Caehopcyn hanno cessato la produzione negli anni sessanta, anche se la miniera di carbone a cielo aperto di Nant Helen continua a funzionare. Abercraf si trova ai pendii del rilievo montuoso di Cribarth, noto per il profilo detto dello Sleeping Giant (Gigante dormiente) chiaramente visibile dalla strada principale A4067.
