AC Diomidis Argous is a multi-sports club from Argos, Greece. Their most successful department, is the handball section of the club. They currently compete in the Greek handball championship. Popularly nicknamed the "wolves", the team won for the first time the EHF Challenge Cup in 2012, downing in the final Wacker Thun. It was also the first time a Greek team won a European title in a handball club competition. The victory was celebrated in Argos before a crowd of several thousand people.

- Ο Αθλητικός Όμιλος Διομήδης Άργους είναι αθλητικός σύλλογος που εδρεύει στην πόλη του Άργους. Ιδρύθηκε το 1976 και δραστηροποιείται κυρίως στο άθλημα της χειροσφαίρισης αλλά και σε άλλα αθλήματα όπως το ποδόσφαιρο, την καλαθοσφαίριση, την επιτραπέζια αντισφαίριση και τον στίβο. Το όνομα του ομίλου, Διομήδης, προέρχεται από το όνομα του αρχαίου βασιλιά της πόλης του Άργους, ο οποίος έγινε γνωστός από τα ηρωικά κατορθώματά του στον πόλεμο της Τροίας εξαιτίας των οποίων χαρακτηρίστηκε από τον Όμηρο Άριστος των Αχαιών. Έμβλημα του ομίλου ο αρχαίος λύκος με το στέμμα του βασιλιά Διομήδη. Ο λύκος αποτελεί αρχαίο και σύγχρονο έμβλημα της πόλης του Άργους που συναντάται σε αρχαία νομίσματα από την εποχή του μυθικού βασιλιά της πόλης Δαναού.Χρώματα του Διομήδη Άργους το πράσινο με το λευκό σε οριζόντιες ρίγες στη φανέλα. Σπουδαία επιτυχία για το σύλλογο αποτελεί η κατάκτηση του Ευρωπαϊκού κυπέλλου θριάμβου χειροσφαίρισης ανδρών το 2012. Την ίδια χρονιά κέρδισε και το Πρωτάθλημα Ελλάδας χειροσφαίρισης ανδρών. Μάλιστα σημείωσε ένα πρωτοφανές ρεκόρ καθώς τερμάτισε αήττητος την κανονική περίοδο με 19 νίκες και μία ισοπαλία, κάτι που συνέβη για πρώτη φορά στην ιστορία της Α1 εθνικής κατηγορίας, που καθιερώθηκε την περίοδο 1989-90.
