Alan William Halliday Pearsall (born in Leeds on 14 November 1925 - died in London on 31 March 2006) was a naval and railway historian, who served for thirty years from 1955 to 1985 on the staff of the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich.

Alan William Halliday Pearsall, meist zitiert A. W. H. Pearsall, (* 14. November 1925 in Leeds; † 31. März 2006 in London) war ein britischer Marinehistoriker und Eisenbahn-Historiker (speziell Eisenbahnfähren). Er war von 1955 bis 1985 am National Maritime Museum in Greenwich (London). Er war im Rat der Navy Records Society und deren Vizepräsident. Er war Mitglied der London Docklands History Group, die sich im Ende meist vergeblich um die Erhaltung historischer Gebäude bemühte.
