60 Minutos (English: 60 Minutes) was a Chilean TV newscast which aired on TVN during the military government of Augusto Pinochet between 1975 and 1988. The program was conceived as an attempt to "reunify the Chilean people" and was first aired in 1976, being the first newscast from the public channel. The show formed the basis for the satirical children's puppetry series 31 Minutos.
