Einzelerfolg der Karriere von Ríos.Im Doppel siegten Alex O’Brien und Jared Palmer im Vorjahr, die beide nicht erneut zum Turnier antraten. Neue Sieger wurden Mark Knowles und Daniel Nestor, die an Position 2 gesetzt waren und sich im Finale gegen Juan Balcells und Andrei Olchowski durchsetzten. Es war ihr 11. gemeinsamer Titel.
