The 2000 United States presidential election in Oregon was held on Tuesday, November, 7, 2000 as part of the concurrent United States presidential election. Voters chose seven electors, or representatives to the Electoral College, to vote for the next president and vice president of the United States. Bush became the first Republican ever to win the White House without carrying Washington County. As of 2020, this is the last time Oregon has voted to the right of Pennsylvania or Minnesota.
