The 1969 Isle of Man TT, the fourth round of the 1969 Grand Prix motorcycle racing season, involved a number of races on the Mountain Course on the Isle of Man. For the second year running Giacomo Agostini won both the Junior and Senior races, completing the six laps of the latter race in 2:09.40.2 to win by almost nine minutes. There were three "production" categories; Malcolm Uphill won the 750 cc, Graham Penny the 500 cc and Mike Rogers the 250 cc. German pairs won both sidecar events; Klaus Enders and in the 500 cc and and H.Schneider in the 750 cc. Kel Carruthers won the Lightweight 250 cc race, while Dave Simmonds won the Lightweight 125 cc.

Alle gare iridate si aggiunsero quelle della categoria "Production" (250 cm³, 500 cm³ e 750 cm³, caratterizzate dalla partenza stile Le Mans) e quella per i sidecar 750 cm³. Le gare non iridate furono vinte da (Triumph 750), (Honda 500), (Ducati 250) e Siegfried Schauzu/ (BMW 560). Più avvincente il Lightweight TT, nel quale Kel Carruthers riportò la Benelli alla vittoria sull'Isola di Man quasi due decenni dopo la vittoria di Dario Ambrosini. L'australiano era stato ingaggiato sul posto per affiancare Phil Read, chiamato a sua volta a sostituire l'infortunato Renzo Pasolini. Read fu costretto al ritiro dalla rottura del motore, mentre un altro protagonista della quarto di litro, Rodney Gould, fu squalificato per rifornimento irregolare. L'Ultra-Lightweight TT vide la seconda vittoria stagionale della Kawasaki di Dave Simmonds. , terzo al traguardo, fu squalificato dopo le verifiche tecniche poiché la sua moto risultò avere una cilindrata di 126,2 cc. Nel Sidecar TT seconda vittoria stagionale (e prima sul Mountain Circuit) per Klaus Enders. (it)
