The 1948 Roller Hockey World Cup was the fourth roller hockey world cup, organized by the Fédération Internationale de Patinage a Roulettes (now under the name of Fédération Internationale de Roller Sports). It was contested by 9 national teams (8 from Europe and 1 from Africa) and it is also considered the 1948 European Roller Hockey Championship (despite the presence of Egypt) and the 1948 Montreux Nations Cup. All the games were played in the city of Montreux, in Switzerland, the chosen city to host the World Cup.

Organisiert wurde das Turnier von der Federation Internationale de Patinage a Roulettes und war zudem die Rollhockey-Europameisterschaft, trotz der Teilnahme von Ägypten. Die neun teilnehmenden Mannschaften spielten im Liga-System gegeneinander. Es wurden 36 Spiele gespielt, in denen 285 Tore erzielt wurden. Für die Niederlande und Ägypten war es die erste Weltmeisterschaft. Sieger des Turniers wurde Portugal. Es war Portugals zweiter Titel in Folge. (de)

- El IV Campeonato mundial de hockey sobre patines masculino y XIV Campeonato europeo se celebró en Montreux, Suiza, entre el 24 de marzo y el 30 de marzo de 1948. De este modo, Montreux se convierte en la primera ciudad (y Suiza en la primera Nación) en albergar el torneo por segunda vez. En el torneo participaron las selecciones de 9 países incluidos en un único grupo. El vencedor del torneo, disputado por el método de liguilla fue la selección de Portugal.
