Inga underarter finns listade i Catalogue of Life. Wilson & Reeder (2005) samt IUCN skiljer mellan tre underarter. Denna primat förekommer i Bangladesh, östra Indien (delstater Assam, Mizoram och Tripura), södra Kina (Yunnan), Burma, Laos, norra Thailand och norra Vietnam.
