- Tożsamość obiektu (ang. identity) – pojęcie umożliwiające odróżnienie od siebie dwóch obiektów; umożliwienie innym zdefiniowanie i zidentyfikowanie obiektu, przez pewne, określające go, cechy . Także okazywanie innym jednostkom i samemu sobie identyfikacji (utożsamiania się) z pewnymi elementami rzeczywistości społecznej.
