Werner Friedrich Theodor Kissling (or Kißling) (11 April 1895, Breslau, Germany – 3 February 1988, Dumfries, Scotland) was an ethnographer and photographer. His mother, Johanna, was a photographer and she was a central figure in hs life. They were both noted for their work in Scotland. Werner studied the Scottish crofters of Eriskay and South Uist, the farmers and fisherfolk of Dumfries and Galloway, the Māori of New Zealand, and the culture of North Yorkshire.

Februar 1988 in Dumfries, Schottland) war ein deutscher Fotograf, Filmemacher und Emigrant, der während des Zweiten Weltkriegs in Großbritannien lebte. Mit seiner Mutter bereiste er als 10-Jähriger die Hebriden und St. Kilda. In Berlin und Königsberg studierte er Jura. Er war Mitglied der deutschen Delegation beim Völkerbund und hielt sich als Diplomat des deutschen Reiches längere Zeit in Spanien, Ungarn, in der Schweiz und in England auf. (de)
