Umar Gul (Urdu: عمر گل, Pashto: عمر گل) (born 15 October 1982 ) is a Pakistani cricket coach and former cricketer who is the current bowling coach of Quetta Gladiators. He played all three formats of the game as a right arm fast medium bowler for the Pakistani cricket team. He gained fame as one of the most successful bowlers in Twenty20 cricket, finishing as the leading wicket taker and bowler in both the 2007 and 2009 Twenty20 World Championship tournaments.
