The Eight Gates of Seoul are eight historical gates that were located in the Fortress Wall of Seoul, South Korea, which surrounded the city in the Joseon Dynasty. Six of these gates exist today (2018). All eight gates were originally built between 1396 and 1398.

Pada masa tersebut terdapat 4 buah besar (사대문) yang melindungi dan menjadi jalan masuk ke pusat kota Seoul, antara lain: Dongdaemun (disebut juga Heunginjimun) di sebelah timur, Seodaemun (Donuimun) di sebelah barat, Namdaemun (Sungnyemun) di sebelah selatan serta Bukdaemun (Sukjeongmun) di utara. Serta 4 buah pintu gerbang kecil (사소문), yaitu: di barat daya, Changuimun di barat laut, di timur laut, dan di tenggara. Pada saat ini hanya tersisa 6 buah pintu gerbang; gerbang barat dan barat daya sudah tidak ada lagi. Monumen peringatan didirikan di tempat perkiraan dulunya kedua gerbang berada. (in)
