Targavar Rural District (Persian: دهستان ترگور, Syriac: ܬܪܓܘܪ, romanized: Targawar) is a rural district (dehestan) in Silvaneh District, Urmia County, West Azerbaijan Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,893, in 1,344 families. The rural district has 26 villages. The district was home to a significant Assyrian population before the Assyrian genocide, but is mostly populated by Herki Kurds today.
