The Systematic Compilation of Federal Legislation (German: Systematische Sammlung des Bundesrechts, SR; French: Recueil systématique du droit fédéral, RS; Italian: Raccolta sistematica, RS) is the official compilation of all Swiss federal laws, ordinances, international and intercantonal treaties that are in force. However, some very voluminous parts of laws, such as the customs code, are not published in their entirety, but only by way of reference; they are usually made available on the websites of the government agencies responsible.

- Le Recueil systématique du droit fédéral (RS ; en allemand Systematische Sammlung des Bundesrechts [SR], en italien Raccolta sistematica del diritto federale [RS]) est la compilation officielle en version consolidée du droit fédéral suisse. Il est structuré d'une manière thématique et recense les constitutions (fédérale et cantonales), les lois fédérales, les ordonnances, certains arrêtés fédéraux ainsi que des textes cantonaux importants. Édité sous forme de volumes papier dans une première version en 1948, il répond alors à un besoin de clarté juridique après la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il apparaît aujourd'hui au format papier (dans des classeurs rouges à feuillets amovibles), de même qu'électronique (consultable sur Internet). Il est publié par la Chancellerie fédérale dans les trois langues officielles suisses (allemand, français et italien), et seulement pour quelques textes en romanche et en anglais. Un premier classement systématique est adopté lors de la création du Recueil en 1948, mais est complètement remanié dans les années 1960 avec le passage au système de feuillets amovibles. Chaque acte inclus dans le recueil dispose d'un « numéro RS » correspondant à sa position dans le classement thématique. Le droit international en vigueur en Suisse est classé de la même manière, mais chaque numéro commence par un 0. Initialement doté d'une valeur juridique, il en est aujourd'hui dépourvu, en faveur du Recueil officiel du droit fédéral. (fr)
- The Systematic Compilation of Federal Legislation (German: Systematische Sammlung des Bundesrechts, SR; French: Recueil systématique du droit fédéral, RS; Italian: Raccolta sistematica, RS) is the official compilation of all Swiss federal laws, ordinances, international and intercantonal treaties that are in force. However, some very voluminous parts of laws, such as the customs code, are not published in their entirety, but only by way of reference; they are usually made available on the websites of the government agencies responsible. In the SR/RS, the acts are published in a consolidated form, that is, the text is updated to reflect any amendment that enters into force through publication in the Official Compilation of Federal Legislation (AS/RO/RU). By itself, publication in the SR/RS does not confer force of law. The legally binding text is that of the individual acts published in the AS/RO/RU. It is issued in the three official languages of Switzerland: German, French and Italian. All three language editions are equally valid. It is published by the Federal Chancellery of Switzerland in the form of weekly supplements to loose leaf binders. Since 1999, they are also made available on the Internet in PDF and HTML formats.
