Zion Memorial Orchestra, Esmerine, en . De band wordt vaak gezien als zijproject van Godspeed You! Black Emperor. Over het algemeen is Set Fire To Flames qua muziek nog experimenteler dan de andere groepen. Omdat de bandleden zelden bij elkaar zijn, speelde de band pas eenmaal live (in 1999). In 2001 en 2004 brachten ze een album uit. (nl) Set Fire to Flames ist eine Post-Rock-Band, bestehend aus vierzehn Musikern aus Montreal, Kanada, welche zwei Alben auf und FatCat Records veröffentlicht haben. Beide Alben wurden „in Zuständen von wenig Schlaf oder keinem Schlaf, in variierenden Stadien der Berauschtheit und in physischer Beschränkung“ aufgenommen. Ihr zweites Album wurde in einer Hütte im ländlichen Ontario aufgenommen. Die Töne der quietschenden Türen und andere Hintergrundgeräusche wurden nicht – wie sonst üblich – herausgeschnitten, sondern bewusst behalten. (de) Set Fire to Flames fue una banda canadiense de post-rock compuesta por trece músicos de Montreal. Han publicado dos álbumes, en Alien8 Recordings y FatCat Records. La idea inicial era juntar a un grupo de músicos en un apartamento para grabar tanto como pudieran en un lapso de cinco días. Ambos álbumes fueron grabados "en estados de haber dormido poco o nada, con distintos niveles de intoxicación, y en confinamiento físico". Las ilustraciones de las portadas de sus dos álbumes publicados están ilustradas con el trabajo del fotógrafo Michael Ackerman.
