The Royal Belgian Athletics League (Dutch: Koninklijke Belgische Atletiekbond, French: Ligue Royale Belge d'Athlétisme) is the governing body for the sport of athletics in Belgium. It consists of the Flemish League of Athletics (Dutch: Vlaamse Atletiekliga) and the Francophone League of Athletics (French: Ligue Belge Francophone d'Atléthisme), cooperating for organising the national championships and for participation in international competitions.

In 1929 kreeg zij het predicaat Koninklijk. Per 1 april 1978 werd de KBAB opgesplitst in een Vlaamse Atletiekliga (VAL) (officieel orgaan Atletiekleven), en een Ligue Belge Francophone d'Athlétisme (LBFA) (officieel orgaan La vie athlétique). Cette dernière s'est constituée en 1978 comme une association sans but lucratif, conformément aux dispositions du décret du Ministère de l'Éducation nationale et de la Culture française du 22 décembre 1977. Avant 1978, la LBFA et la VAL (Vlaamse Athletiekliga) ne formaient qu’une seule ligue. Son siège se situe dans la Maison de l'Athlétisme, stade Roi-Baudouin à Bruxelles et elle a deux coprésidents.
