Encontra-se classificada como Monumento Nacional desde 1910. (pt) Die Ponte Romana (auch Trajansbrücke genannt) ist eine Steinbogenbrücke in Chaves (Portugal) über den Fluss Tâmega. Sie verbindet den Ort Chaves (antik Aquae Flaviae) mit einem Vorort am südwestlichen Ufer und wird als Straßen- und Fußgängerbrücke benutzt. Die Brücke hat zwölf sichtbare Rundbögen mit einer lichten Weite von bis zu 8,90 m. Das Bauwerk setzt sich jedoch unter der heutigen Straße auf beiden Seiten des von Mauerwerk begrenzten Flusses fort. Seine gesamte Länge wird deshalb mit 140 m angegeben. Auf der Brücke wurden zwei Steinstelen aufgestellt, die folgende Inschriften tragen: (de) Le pont de Trajan, aussi nommé pont de Chaves, franchit le fleuve portugais Tâmega qui traverse la ville de Chaves, district de Vila Real au Portugal. Le pont a été construit entre la fin du Ier et le début du IIe siècle. C'est l'un des principaux héritages (tout comme les thermes) laissés par les Romains dans l'ancienne Aquae Flaviae, l'actuelle ville de Chaves.
