Richard J. Tillman (September 5, 1911 – October 1983) was an American politician. He served as a Republican member for the 72nd district of the Florida House of Representatives. Born in New York. Tillman attended at the New York University Tandon School of Engineering. He moved to Florida in 1942. Tillman served as a engineer. In 1968, he won the election for the 72nd district of the Florida House of Representatives. In the election, Tubbs decided to run office if Harry H. Pfeiffer would run for re-election. He was a member of the Cocoa Beach City Commission. Tillman succeeded Pfeiffer. In 1970, he was succeeded by F. Eugene Tubbs for the 72nd district. Tubbs resided in Cocoa Beach, Florida for which he had normally attended at commission meetings.
