Reginald I (also called "the One-eyed", Reinald I, Renaud I; c. 1080 – 10 March 1149) was Count of Bar (1105–1149). Barrois, during the Middle Ages, was the territory of the counts and dukes of Bar, in the eastern part of present-day France, bordering Lorraine. He was the son of Theodoric I, Count of Montbéliard and Ermentrude of Bourgogne, the daughter of William I, Count of Burgundy. Reginald was one of the leaders of the Second Crusade in 1145. He was drowned somewhere in the Mediterranean Sea on his return voyage to Europe on or before 10 March 1149.

  • Reinoud I van Bar (ca. 1076 - op de Middellandse Zee, 1149) was de tweede zoon van Diederik I van Montbéliard en van Ermentrude van Bourgondië. In 1102 werd Diederik benoemd tot voogd van Saint-Pierremont (Vosges). Bij het overlijden van zijn vader in 1105 werd hij graaf van Bar en van Mousson, en kreeg hij het in leen van de bisschop van die stad. In hetzelfde jaar stichtte hij de abdij van Froidefontaine. In 1106 verkocht Reinoud het fort van Commercy aan de abt van Saint-Mihiel. Reinoud nam met twee van zijn zoons deel aan de Tweede Kruistocht. Hij overleed op zee, tijdens de terugreis. (nl)
