The Oratory of the Borgias or Church of the Tower is located in the municipality of Canals (Valencia), Spain. It is a church built in early Valencian Gothic style, probably in the 13th century. It is located in front of the Borgias Tower and has been reformed on several occasions. In the oratory is conserved a medieval table about the Last Judgment, attributed to the Master of Borbotó. In the oratory was kept a shield with the arms of the House of Borgia which was lost after the intervention of 1878. Originally, it was part of the palace complex of the Borgias at their ancestral power base in the Señorío de Torre de Canals.

| - L'Oratori dels Borja, anomenat també Ermita de la Santa Creu, o església, oratori de la Torre de Canals. L'oratori formava part del conjunt palatí dels Borja, i es va aixecar sota l'advocació de la Veracreu. Arquitectònicament s'enquadra en l'estil "gòtic de conquesta". Presenta una única nau de planta rectangular, amb capçalera plana, construïda amb murs de pedra i morter, coberta a quatre aigües sustentada per dos arcs de diafragma recolzats en pilastres. El sostre era de fusta, encara que només parcialment. L'oratori pot datar-se a finals del segle xiv, i està situat al carrer de Calixt III, del municipi de Canals. Després de ser restaurat es van poder recuperar un conjunt de pintures murals de gran valor. Aquestes representen les figures de Josep de Natzaret amb el Nen, i de sant Vicent Ferrer amb Calixt III de nen i de sant Francesc de Borja, amb inscripcions al·lusives, en castellà i valencià de l'època. Les pintures són d'estil barroc, encara que té juxtaposicions renaixentistes com a conseqüència d'intervencions realitzades en 1721. En 1878 després d'una intervenció, es va perdre un escut d'armes dels Borja. És un Bé de Rellevància local del municipi de Canals, amb codi 46.23.081-002 (ca)

En el Oratorio se conservaba un escudo con las armas de los Borja que se perdió tras la intervención del año 1878. En origen, formaba parte del conjunto palaciego de los Borja. La advocación original del oratorio fue la Santa Cruz. El edificio está formado por una única nave de planta rectangular, cabecera plana, muros de piedra y mortero, cubierta a cuatro aguas sustentada por dos arcos de diafragma apoyados en pilastras. El techo era parcialmente de madera. Durante la Guerra Civil Española se perdió el retablo mayor original. Se cree que en una de las tablas de este, se representaba la Santa Cruz, regalo del Papa Calixto III según la tradición. (es)

The building consists of a single nave's rectangular, flat head, walls of stone and mortar, covered gabled sustained by two diaphragm arches supported by pillars. The roof was partially of wood. The original major altar was lost during the Spanish Civil War. It is believed that at one of the tables of the major altar, it was represented the True Cross, a gift of the Pope Callixtus III, according to the historical tradition. (en)
