| - MSC Flaminia is a German container ship which caught fire on 14 July 2012, claiming three lives (only two of which could be recovered) and forcing the crew to abandon ship in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. After the fire had been brought under control, the stricken container ship was towed to Europe and arrived at Wilhelmshaven, Germany, on 9 September 2012. In March 2013, she departed Wilhelmshaven for Mangalia, Romania for repairs which were finished in July 2014. (en)
- De MSC Flaminia is een containerschip van onder charter van Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). Op 14 juli 2012 brak er brand uit aan boord. Het schip bevond zich op dit moment op de Atlantische Oceaan. De brand in kwestie heeft aan twee mensen het leven gekost, een derde slachtoffer is tot op vandaag nog steeds vermist. Toen de brand onder controle was, werd het schip weggesleept, waarna het op 9 september 2012 aankwam in de Duitse Wilhelmshaven. Het containerschip werd hier gerepareerd, waarna het in maart 2013 naar Roemenië werd gebracht ter voltooiing van de reparatie. In juli 2014 werd het schip weer in de vaart gebracht. (nl)
- Die MSC Flaminia ist ein Containerschiff des Fondsanbieters Conti Reederei aus Putzbrunn bei München. Bekannt wurde das damals unter der Flagge Deutschlands fahrende Schiff durch eine Brandkatastrophe im Sommer 2012. Widersprüchliche Angaben zu Anzahl und Inhalt der Gefahrgutcontainer auf dem Schiff und die Weigerung mehrerer Staaten, das Schiff einen Nothafen anlaufen zu lassen, hatten zu Kritik in Politik und Öffentlichkeit beim Umgang mit derlei Schiffshavarien geführt. - Le MSC Flaminia est un porte-conteneurs naviguant sous pavillon Maltais pour le compte de la Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC). Un incendie s'est déclaré à son bord le 14 juillet 2012 alors qu'il était au centre de l'Atlantique Nord.L'équipage a quitté le navire.Selon son commandement (allemand) le bateau contenait 151 conteneurs étiquetés dangereux (sur 2 876 selon le Centre de documentation de recherche et d'expérimentation sur les pollutions accidentelles des eaux (CEDRE)), contenant des solvants inflammables et des produits toxiques (dont du PCB qui a brûlé).
