Pelé is a retired Brazilian football player who represented the Brazil national football team as a forward from 1957 to 1971. He is widely considered to be the greatest football player of all time. He is currently the all-time top goalscorer for Brazil with 77 international goals, which he scored in 92 appearances. 12 of those goals came during his 14 World Cup appearances, including 4 goals in 1970. Pelé is one of the four players (the others are Uwe Seeler, Miroslav Klose, and Cristiano Ronaldo), that scored in four separate World Cup tournaments.
