Kunitomo Ikkansai (国友一貫斎, November 21, 1778 – December 26, 1840), real name Kunitomo Tōbē Yoshimasa (国友藤兵衛能當), was a Japanese gunsmith and inventor of the late Edo period, who, after having spent several months in Edo, where he could get accustomed with Dutch wares, built Japan's first reflective telescope in 1831. It was of the Gregorian type and had a magnification of 60. He used it to make very detailed studies of sun spots and lunar topography. Four of his telescopes remain to this day.

Ikkansai ist wie Tōbē (藤兵衛) oder Minryū (眠龍) ein Künstlername, wobei sein wirklicher Vorname Shigechika (重恭) war. Er entstammte einer Familie von offiziellen Büchsenmachern des Tokugawa-Shogunats. Wegen eines Streitfalls mit anderen Schmieden bzw. Büchsenmachern im Dorf ging er 1811 zur Klärung in die Hauptstadt Edo. Dort machte er Bekanntschaft mit dem Arzt Yamada Daien (山田大円; 1765–1831), der ihm ein Luftgewehr der in Dejima lebenden Holländer zeigte.
