Kleanthis Maropoulos (Greek: Κλεάνθης Μαρόπουλος; 1919 – 3 January 1991) was a Greek international football player who played as a striker for AEK Athens He was a star footballer during the 1930's and 1940's and arguably the greatest Greek player of his generation. He was affectionately known as the "Blonde Eagle of AEK" (Greek: "Ξανθός Αετός της ΑΕΚ").
