| - الديوان الْهُمَاْيُوْنِي مجلس ترتبط به كافة أجهزة الدولة العثمانية. ما يعادل في الوقت الحاضر مجلس الوزراء. انتقلت شؤون هذا الديوان إلى الباب العالي في أواسط القرن الثامن عشر الميلادي. يتكون من:
* الصدر الأعظم.
* الوزراء.
* قاضي العسكر.
* الدفتردار.

- 御前会議（トルコ語:Divan）とは、イスラム教国家において政治的事柄を論じ、裁定を下す機関である。 オスマン帝国において政務について議論する機関はディヴァーヌ・ヒュマーユーン（Dîvân-ı Hümâyun）と呼ばれ、その他にも場所や目的に応じて様々な名称で呼ばれた。 臣民の前にスルタンが姿を現すアヤック・ディヴァーヌ（Ayak Divanı）、外国大使の受入に関するガレベ・ディヴァーヌ（Galebe Divanı）、サドラザムの出国時に召集されるセフェル・ディヴァーヌ（ Sefer Divanı）、遠征時に馬上で行われたアト・ディヴァーヌ（ At Divanı）、イェニチェリの給与に関するウルフェ・ディヴァーヌ（ Ulufe Divanı）、大宰相府で御前会議の未完の仕事を完了するため召集されるイキンディ・ディヴァーヌ（ İkindi Divanı）などが存在した。 (ja)
- Divan (på persiska دیوان; på osmansk turkiska Dîwân eller Dîwân-i-Humâjûn Kalemi) kallades riksrådet i flera muslimska stater, främst det i Osmanska riket. Begreppet uppstod under Umar ibn al-Khattabs kalifat, då denne för det muslimska rikets administration lät kopiera det system som använts av det besegrade sassanidiska riket. (sv)
- Diwan-i Humayun fou el consell imperial otomà o organisme central del govern des del segle xv fins a la meitat del segle xvii. Estava dirigit pel Khwadjegan-i Diwan-i Humayun. Vers principis del segle XV el sultà tenia el costum de presidir un consell de paixàs. Només excepcionalment (en els interregnes entre dos sultans), el consell es podia reunir sense el sultà, però sota Mehmet II aquest va delegar la presidència en el gran visir, tot i que podia seguir les deliberacions d'amagat. Solimà el Magnífic va abandonar definitivament també aquest control. Formaven el diwan el gran visir, els visirs, els kadi-askers, els defertars i els nishandjis; més tard s'hi va afegir el beglerbegi de Rumèlia (durant el segle xvi) i després el Kapudan Paixà. - The Imperial Council or Imperial Divan (Ottoman Turkish: ديوان همايون, romanized: Dîvân-ı Hümâyûn), was the de facto cabinet of the Ottoman Empire for most of its history. Initially an informal gathering of the senior ministers presided over by the Sultan in person, in the mid-15th century the Council's composition and function became firmly regulated. - Il Dîvân-i humâyûn, in lingua italiana spesso chiamato semplicemente "Divano" o "Gran Divano", era il consiglio dei responsabili delle amministrazioni dell'impero ottomano riuniti attorno al Sultano, ovvero: il o Sadr-i a'zam (responsabile per gli affari politici), il Nişancı, il Segretario del Consiglio (responsabile della Cancelleria), il Kazasker di Anatolia (responsabile giudiziario dell'Anatolia), il Kazasker di Rumelia (responsabile giudiziario dei territori ottomani nel continente Europeo), il Defterdar (responsabile del tesoro) e il Capitan pascià (gran ammiraglio della flotta ottomana).
