Harold Earl "Hal" Bamberger (October 29, 1924 – November 14, 2010) was an outfielder in Major League Baseball who played briefly for the New York Giants during the 1948 season. Listed at 6 ft 0 in (1.83 m), 173 lb., Bamberger batted left-handed and threw right-handed. He was born in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Bamberger graduated from Cornwall High School in Lebanon City and went on to serve in the U.S. Marine Corps for three years, mostly in the South Pacific theatre during World War II. An outstanding athlete at Cornwall, he earned letters in four sports.
