- George Booth, 1st Baron Delamer (18 December 1622 – 8 August 1684), was an English landowner and politician from Cheshire, who served as an MP from 1646 to 1661, when he was elevated to the House of Lords as Baron Delamer. A member of the moderate Presbyterian faction that dominated the Long Parliament and many of the pre-war county elites, Booth fought for Parliament during the First English Civil War. He relinquished his commission when elected MP for Cheshire in 1646, a seat he retained throughout the Protectorate. (en)

Delamer deltog i inbördeskriget på parlamentets sida, satt från 1645 i "långa parlamentet" samt 1654 och 1656 i Oliver Cromwells parlament. Under Richard Cromwell blev han en av de missnöjdas ledare, knöt förbindelser med "kavaljererna" och planerade en omfattande resning, vilken emellertid endast i Cheshire fick en övergående framgång, i augusti 1659.
