Erik Werner Jakobsen (born 1967) is a business economist with a PhD in economics from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) in Bergen. Erik is partner and chair of the board in Menon Business Economics, a research-based consultancy with approx. 50 economists qualified at MSc and PhD-level. From 2009 to 2018, Erik held a part-time position as professor in strategic management at . Earlier, Erik has been the leader of BI Norwegian Business School's Centre for Value Creation and project manager for the research project A value-creating Norway (Et verdiskapende Norge).
