| - Dingo Fence (Plot proti dingům) je nejdelší drátěný plot na světě. Je dlouhý 5 614 kilometrů a vede napříč Austrálií od pobřeží Velkého australského zálivu po Velký bariérový útes. Plot je vysoký 180 cm, dalších 30 cm pokračuje pod zemí, po obou stranách je pětimetrový pás vyčištěné půdy. Nejexponovanější úseky jsou osazeny zářivkami. V místech, kde plot křižuje hlavní silnice, se nacházejí speciální rošty (cattle grids). (cs)

- Der Dingozaun (engl. Dingo Fence oder Dog Fence, „Hundezaun“) ist ein Zaun in Australien, der die Schafweiden im Südosten des Kontinents vor Raubtieren, hauptsächlich Dingos, aber auch Füchsen, schützen soll. Er befindet sich auf den Gebieten der Bundesstaaten South Australia und Queensland sowie entlang deren Grenzen zu New South Wales. Er besteht aus Maschendraht, hat eine Höhe von über 180 cm und ist etwa 5600 km lang. Durch Stürme, Überschwemmungen und Kamele wird der Dingozaun immer wieder beschädigt und muss aufwendig gewartet werden, organisiert durch Dog Fence Boards. - De Dingo Fence is een 5.614 km lang hekwerk dat is gebouwd om schapen in het zuidelijke deel van Australië te beschermen tegen dingo's. Aan het hekwerk werd begonnen in 1880 en vijf jaar later werd de bouw volbracht. Het hek overspant de gehele afstand van , vlak bij Toowoomba aan de oostkust tot het aan de Grote Australische Bocht en is 1,80 meter hoog. Door het hek nam de populatie van dingo's ten zuiden van het hek af en werden er minder schapen gedood, maar tegelijkertijd namen kangoeroes en konijnen sterk in aantal toe, wegens het wegvallen van hun natuurlijke vijand.
