Denim Delinquent was an underground fanzine of seven issues in total, published from 1971 to 1976. It was the first rock and roll fanzine to come out of Canada. The zine began as a launching pad for the writing of Jymn Parrett and Mark Jones in Ottawa, Ontario. After the first two Ottawa-based issues, subsequent Denim Delinquents were published out of Los Angeles by Jymn and Dee Parrett. The content of these issues included articles about music groups playing the Sunset Strip, including the Whisky a Go Go. Original issues of Denim Delinquent sell for over $300 on eBay.
