- Daniel Wesson (ur. 18 maja 1825 w Worcester (Massachusetts), zm. 4 sierpnia 1906) – amerykański wynalazca i konstruktor broni strzeleckiej, współzałożyciel przedsiębiorstwa Smith & Wesson. Po ukończeniu nauki w wieku 18 lat, rozpoczął 4-letnią praktykę w zakładzie rusznikarskim, prowadzonym przez brata Edwina w Northborough, w stanie Massachusetts. Po jego śmierci w 1850 roku pracował wraz z drugim bratem Frankiem, również rusznikarzem w przedsiębiorstwie w Grafton. W 1852 podjął pracę w przedsiębiorstwie Allen, Brown und Luther w Worcester, specjalizującym się w produkcji broni. Tam poznał Smitha i Henry’ego.
