Chandra Monerawela (born 8 September 1937) is a Sri Lankan diplomat. He served as Sri Lankan High Commissioner to Singapore and to the United Kingdom. Born in Kandy, Monerawela was educated at the Trinity College, Kandy and the University of Ceylon, Peradeniya. He joined the Ceylon Overseas Service in 1961. He served in the Ceylon's missions in Beijing from 1964 to 1967 and in Washington, DC from 1967 to 1970.
