| - Burton Wendroff (born March 10, 1930) is an American applied mathematician known for his contributions to the development of numerical methods for the solution of hyperbolic partial differential equations. The Lax–Wendroff method for the solution of hyperbolic PDE is named for Wendroff (as well as for Peter Lax). Wendroff is an adjunct professor at the Department of Mathematics and Statistics, University of New Mexico. He is also a retired fellow and associate at the Los Alamos National Laboratory. (en)
- Burton Wendroff (* 10.
(pt)
