Brønnøy District Court (Norwegian: Brønnøy tingrett) was a district court in Nordland county, Norway. The court was based in the town of Brønnøysund. The court existed from 1919 until 2021. It served the municipalities of Bindal, Brønnøy, Sømna, Vega, and Vevelstad. Cases from this court could be appealed to Hålogaland Court of Appeal. The court was led by the chief judge (Sorenskriver) Rolf Selfors, who also lead the neighboring Alstahaug District Court and Rana District Court at the time of the court's dissolution. This court employed a chief judge, one other judge, and four prosecutors.

Its judicial duties were mainly to settle criminal cases and to resolve civil litigation as well as bankruptcy. The administration and registration tasks of the court included death registration, issuing certain certificates, performing duties of a notary public, and officiating civil wedding ceremonies. Het gerechtsgebied omvat de gemeenten Bindal, Brønnøy, Sømna, Vega en Vevelstad. Het gerecht maakt deel uit van het van Hålogaland lagmannsrett. In zaken waarbij beroep is ingesteld tegen een uitspraak van Brønnøy zal de zitting van het lagmannsrett worden gehouden in Mosjøen. Naast de gewone zaken die behandeld worden door een tingrett is Brønnøy als enige gerecht in het land bevoegd in zaken van mortificatie. Mortificatie houdt in dat het gerecht beslist over zaken waarbij een document noodzakelijk is om een recht te kunnen uitoefenen terwijl het document verloren is gegaan. De uitspraak geldt dan als vervangend document. Dit is vrijwel steeds een schriftelijk geding zodat Brønnøy zonder bezwaar bevoegd kan zijn voor het gehele land. Voor het geval er toch een zitting nodig is wordt de zaak verwezen naar het tingrett dat volgens de gewone regels bevoegd zou zijn.
