It is quoted in several places in another pseudepigraphal work, 1 Enoch, and is mentioned in another, the Book of Jubilees. There have also been fragments attributed to a Book of Noah in the Dead Sea Scrolls.

- L’Apocalypse de Noé ou Livre de Noé serait un livre pseudépigraphique vétérotestamentaire connu uniquement par des citations dans d'autres ouvrages du même type, le Livre d'Hénoch principalement, le Livre des Jubilés et le Testament des douze patriarches. Par ailleurs, vingt-trois fragments des manuscrits de la mer Morte pourraient en être une partie. L’introduction du Livre d’Asaph, ouvrage juif médiéval, mentionne un Livre de Noé qui serait un recueil de remèdes. L’ouvrage, mentionné dans le Livre des Jubilés et le Testament de Lévi des manuscrits de la mer Morte, dut disparaitre tôt car il n’est pas dans la liste des apocryphes. Selon Leonhard Rost, il aurait vu le jour dans la région de Jérusalem au IIe siècle av. J.-C., avant la dynastie hasmonéenne. Néanmoins, certains contestent l’existence d’un Livre de Noé et pensent qu'il s'agit d'une attribution fictive, les passages cités provenant d’autres sources. (fr)
