Alfred Thomas Papai (May 7, 1917 – September 7, 1995) was an American pitcher in Major League Baseball who played between the 1948 and 1955 seasons for the St. Louis Cardinals (1948, 1950), St. Louis Browns (1949), Boston Red Sox (1950) and Chicago White Sox (1955). Listed at 6 ft 3 in (1.91 m), 185 lb., Papai batted and threw right-handed. He was born in Divernon, Illinois. Papai died in Springfield, Illinois, at the age of 78.
