Acadian cuisine has been influenced by many things throughout its history, mostly the Deportation of the Acadians, proximity to the ocean, the Canadian winter, bad soil fertility, the cuisine of Quebec, American cuisine, and English cuisine. Par exemple, on y utilise le sirop d'érable, et la poutine est connue.
