The 2022 World Masters (officially referred to as the 2022 Winmau World Masters) will be the 47th edition of the World Masters organised by the World Darts Federation. Tournament will be held at the De Bonte Wever in Assen, Netherlands. Only the players invited by the organizer can take part in the tournament, in accordance with the accepted qualification conditions. John O'Shea who won the previous men's tournament was absent from the event, having switched to the Professional Darts Corporation in January 2022. Lisa Ashton as three-time champion was defending women's title.

| - Das Winmau World Masters 2022 war die insgesamt 47. Ausgabe des traditionsreichen Darts-Majorturnieres. Zum ersten Mal seit der Liquidation der British Darts Organisation (BDO) im Jahre 2020 wurde das Turnier dabei vollständig von der World Darts Federation (WDF) als sogenanntes „Platin“-Turnier, also als Teil der höchsten Turnierklasse, ausgetragen. Es fand vom 8. bis zum 11. Dezember 2022 im im Niederländischen Assen statt. Die bisherigen Titelträger aus dem Jahr 2019 waren John O’Shea bei den Herren, Lisa Ashton bei den Frauen, Keane Barry bei den Jungen und bei den Mädchen. Barry und O’Shea waren als aktuelle PDC Tour Card-Holder jedoch nicht für das Turnier zugelassen und konnten ihren Titel dementsprechend nicht verteidigen. Ashton und Sheldon standen ebenfalls nicht auf der finalen Teilnehmerliste, sodass keiner der Titelverteidiger am Turnier teilnahm. Insgesamt wurden bei dem Turnier 50.000 € ausgelobt. Das finale Teilnehmerfeld wurde am 6. Dezember 2022 bekanntgegeben. Es bestand ursprünglich aus insgesamt 635 gemeldeten Spielern (310 Herren, 199 Damen, 92 Jungen, 34 Mädchen). Letztendlich nahmen 496 Spieler am Turnier teil. Bei den Herren wurde der Niederländer Wesley Plaisier zum neuen Sieger gekürt. Er gewann das Finale gegen den Nordiren mit 7:2 in legs. Ein glatter 6:0-Erfolg im Finale gelang der Engländerin Beau Greaves über die Spanierin , welche damit zur neuen Siegerin bei den Damen wurde. Die Jugendtitel sicherten sich bei den Jungen und bei den Mädchen. (de)
