The 2020 Danish mink cull in Denmark known as the Mink Case (Danish: Minksagen) was the government-mandated slaughter of all 13.5 million mink that were being raised on farms for their fur in Denmark. The cull began on 4 November 2020, after it was discovered that COVID-19 had spread to mink and a higher risk of disease spread was feared. It later became clear that the orders had been given without legal authority.
