The 2019 Leeds City Council election took place on Thursday 2 May 2019 to elect members of Leeds City Council in England. It was held on the same day as other local elections across England and the rest of the UK. Elected councillors were granted the usual four-year term until 2023 in order to return to the typical election cycle of elections in three of every four years. The Labour Party maintained their majority control of the council despite losing four seats, also retaining their one Calverley and Farsley councillor by 27 votes.
