- Le elezioni generali in Bosnia ed Erzegovina del 1996 si tennero il 14 settembre per l'elezione della Presidenza, nonché per il rinnovo della Camera dei rappresentanti e delle assemblee delle due entità federali, la Federazione di Bosnia ed Erzegovina e la Repubblica Serba. - Wybory powszechne w Bośni i Hercegowinie w 1996 roku – wybory przeprowadzone 14 września 1996 roku. Wybory do Izby Reprezentantów przeprowadzono oddzielnie w Federacji BiH i Republice Serbskiej. W wyborach do Prezydium każda z trzech wspólnot narodowych wybierała swego przedstawiciela. Wśród Boszniaków zwyciężył Alija Izetbegović, Chorwaci wybrali Krešimira Zubaka, a Serbowie Momčilo Krajišnika.W wyborach do Izby Reprezentantów najwięcej mandatów (19 z 42) zdobyła Partia Akcji Demokratycznej. - Les eleccions generals de Bòsnia i Hercegovina de 1996 es va dur a terme el 14 de setembre de 1996 per a elegir la Presidència de Bòsnia i Hercegovina, així com el govern federal i els governs cantonals. - General elections were held in Bosnia and Herzegovina on 14 September 1996. Voter turnout was 79.4% in the parliamentary election and 80.4% in the presidential election. The elections for the House of Representatives were divided into two; one for the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and one for Republika Srpska. In the presidential election, voters in the Federation elected Bosniak Alija Izetbegović and Croat Krešimir Zubak, while voters in Republika Srpska elected Serb Momčilo Krajišnik. The Party of Democratic Action emerged as the largest party in the House of Representatives, winning 19 of the 42 seats. (en)
