The 1948 Anti-Jewish riots in Tripolitania were riots between the antisemitic rioters and Jewish communities of Tripoli and its surroundings in June 1948, during the British Military Administration in Libya. The events resulted in 13-14 Jews and 4 Arabs dead and destruction of 280 Jewish homes. The events occurred during the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.

Les émeutes conduisent à la mort de 13 à 14 Juifs et 4 Arabes ainsi qu'à la destruction de 280 maisons juives. Les événements se sont produits le 12 juin 1948 au cours de la guerre israélo-arabe de 1948. Les Juifs ayant subi un pogrom à Tripoli faisant 140 victimes 3 ans plus tôt se préparèrent à ces émeutes lorsque les tensions au Proche-Orient se répercutèrent sur les Arabes libyens. (fr) De pogrom van Tripoli van 1948 vond plaats op 12 juni 1948 in het toen nog Italiaanse Libië, dat overigens door geallieerde troepen was bezet. Deze pogrom volgde op het uitroepen van de staat Israël. Ten minste 13 Joden werden vermoord, circa 280 Joodse woningen werden verwoest. Tijdens het conflict tussen Joden en Arabieren in het Britse mandaatgebied Palestina werd de haat tegenover de Joden in Libië steeds heviger. Bij de eerste pogrom in 1945 kwamen meer dan 140 Joden om het leven. (nl)
