| - The 1929–31 Balkan Cup was the competition's first edition. Four teams participated: Romania, Greece, Yugoslavia, and Bulgaria. Romania won the trophy ahead of second placed Yugoslavia. Greece came third and Bulgaria was last. The best goalscorers were Bodola and Wetzer, both from Romania and with 7 goals each. Albania had registered for the tournament, but retired before the beginning and did not participate. (en)

- Der 1. Balkan-Cup war ein Wettbewerb für Fußballnationalmannschaften von Staaten aus der Balkanregion. Es wurde von 1929 bis 1931 über drei Jahre ausgetragen. Die Spiele fanden in Rumänien, Griechenland, Bulgarien und Jugoslawien statt. Diese vier Länder nahmen auch am Turnier teil, das im Gruppenmodus ausgespielt wurde. Jede Mannschaft spielte zweimal gegen jede andere – einmal zu Hause, einmal auswärts. Rumänien sicherte sich mit fünf Siegen aus sechs Partien schließlich überlegen den Titel und stellte auch die beiden Toptorschützen Iuliu Bodola und Rudolf Wetzer (je sieben Treffer). (de)
- La Copa de los Balcanes 1929-31 fue la primera edición de la Copa de los Balcanes y fue un torneo que duró dos años y medio. Participaron cuatro equipos: (Yugoslavia, Grecia, Bulgaria y Rumania). Rumania ganó el trofeo por delante del segundo clasificado Yugoslavia, Grecia quedó tercera y Bulgaria última. Los mejores goleadores fueron y , ambos de Rumanía y con 7 goles cada uno. - Balkan Cup 1929/1931 – pierwsza edycja piłkarskiego turnieju towarzyskiego krajów bałkańskich – Balkan Cup, który odbywał się od 6 października 1929 – 29 listopada 1931. Zwyciężyła reprezentacja Rumunii z dorobkiem 10 punktów. Mecze odbywały się w 5 miastach – Sofii, Belgradzie, Zagrzebiu, Atenach i Bukareszcie. (pl)
