- التحالف الديمقراطي المتحد هو حزب سياسي كيني. الحزب، الذي كان يُطلق عليه في البداية حزب التنمية والإصلاحات، غير اسمه رسميًا في ديسمبر 2020. دخل الحزب إلى دائرة الضوء الكيني في يناير 2021 وهو مرتبط بالسياسيين المتحالفين مع الدكتور ويليام روتو، نائب رئيس كينيا. قدم الحزب مرشحين في انتخابات فرعية مختلفة لمناصب انتخابية مقررة في مارس 2021. سيكون المرشح الرئاسي وليام روتو ونائب المرشح الرئاسي رايلا أودينجا لأن ويليام لا يمكن أن يكون نائبًا بسبب القيود الدستورية. - The United Democratic Alliance (UDA) is the current ruling political party in Kenya. Their slogan is "Kazi ni Kazi" (Work is work) and their symbol is a wheelbarrow .The party, initially called the Party of Development and Reforms, officially changed its name to UDA in December 2020. The party became notable in January 2021, and is linked to politicians allied to Dr. William Ruto, the President of Kenya. The party fielded candidates in various by-elections for elective positions slated for March 2021. UDA nominated Ruto in the 2022 Kenyan general election, after he announced that he would leave the Jubilee Party in late 2021. Ruto picked Rigathi Gachagua as his running mate for the elections. In the 2022 general elections, out of 47 elected senate seats, UDA was able to garner 22 seats, while the Orange Democratic Movement(ODM), Jubilee party, Wiper and the United Democratic Movement(UDM) got 13,4,3 and 2 seats respectively. Ford Kenya, DP, and NRM each got 1 seat in senate. Based on the 2022 general election, UDA is the single party with the largest number of elected members of the National assembly, with 138 members. ODM, Jubilee and Wiper each managed 85, 28 and 24 seats respectively. ANC, managed 7 seats, Ford Kenya 6 and lastly UDM and DAP- Kenya with 5 seats each. The party uses wheelbarrow as the party's symbol which stands for "the worth, respect, and dignity of work in pursuit of an unbiased society. The party is founded based on principles of good governance, including; love, unity, freedom, peace, accountability, diversity, justice and equity. The party also has received great support from the Kenyan population, boasting over 6,942,397 votes from registered members. Mission statement. To facilitate the fundamental rights, needs and potential of the Kenyan people through a democratic, devolved and accountable government anchored on a bottoms-up economic model that promotes equal opportunities, shared prosperity and improved economic welfare. Vision An equitably empowered Kenyan society living in a peaceful and united country. UDA is a member of Kenya Kwanza which is known for it recently launched flagship project called the Hustler Fund.
