- Le Grand Méchant Loup est un court métrage d'animation américain de la série des Silly Symphonies produite par les studios Disney et sorti le 14 avril 1934. Il fait suite au film Les Trois Petits Cochons (1933) basé sur le conte folklorique homonyme et du Petit Chaperon rouge (1697) de Charles Perrault. Il a donné lieu à d'autres suites parmi lesquelles Les Trois Petits Loups (1936) ainsi qu'un grand nombre de bandes dessinées mettant en scène le personnage du « Grand Méchant Loup » sous le nom de Grand Loup. - The Big Bad Wolf is an animated short released on April 13, 1934, by United Artists, produced by Walt Disney and directed by Burt Gillett as part of the Silly Symphony series. Acting partly as a sequel to the wildly successful adaptation of The Three Little Pigs of the previous year (maintaining the previous film's title characters as well as its villain), this film also acts as an adaptation of the fairy-tale Little Red Riding Hood, with the Big Bad Wolf from 1933's Three Little Pigs acting as the adversary to Little Red Riding Hood and her grandmother. È un cortometraggio d'animazione della serie Sinfonie allegre, distribuito negli Stati Uniti dalla United Artists il 13 aprile 1934. Adattamento dell'omonima fiaba di Charles Perrault, il film è il sequel de I tre porcellini (1933) e fu seguito a sua volta da I tre lupetti (1936). Fu il secondo adattamento della fiaba prodotto da Disney dopo l'omonimo corto del 1922 che aveva realizzato con la sua prima società, il Laugh-O-Gram Studio. Il film nacque dallo straordinario successo del predecessore, a seguito del quale la United Artists chiese a Disney di accontentare il pubblico dandogli "altri porcellini". Cappuccetto Rosso non ebbe però lo stesso entusiastico riscontro de I tre porcellini. È stato distribuito in DVD col titolo Il lupo cattivo. (it)
