- Les T'bolis sont une tribu animiste, vivant autour du , au sud de Mindanao dans la province de Cotabato aux Philippines. Les T'bolis se seraient installés dans ce secteur de forêts denses et de montagnes découpées, il y a à peu près deux mille ans et ont vécu totalement isolés du reste du monde jusque dans les années 1970. En 1997, les T'bolis comptaient un peu plus de soixante mille personnes, vivant de la chasse, de la pêche, de l'agriculture, mais aussi du tissage et de l'orfèvrerie. C'est un peuple très raffiné qui a élu domicile autour d'un lac enchanteur. Ils vouent un véritable culte à la beauté et à l'harmonie sous toutes ses formes. La musique est une composante essentielle de leur culture. Même dans la vie quotidienne, les femmes se parent de tenues éclatantes et portent perles et broderies d'or, comme pour une fête. Elles portent un soin attentif à leur coiffure et se protègent d'un grand chapeau conique en bambou et tissu, le « laong kinibang », recouvert d'un patchwork d'étoffes et orné d'un voile rouge vif. À cette coiffe et à leur ceinture, elles ajoutent des grelots et des clochettes.

- T'boli adalah salah satu masyarakat adat asli Cotabato Selatan di Mindanao Selatan, Filipina. Suku T'boli tinggal di daerah sekitar Lembah Alah dan daerah pesisir Maitum, Maasim dan Kiamba. Setelah Perang Dunia II, para perantau yang berasal dari bagian lain di Filipina datang berbondong-bondong mendesak suku T'boli ke lereng gunung. Sampai sekarang, mereka hampir terusir dari dasar lembah yang subur. Seperti suku tetangga mereka, Úbûs, Blàan, Blit, Tàú-Segél, dan Tasaday, mereka dijuluki sebagai orang gunung, penyembah berhala, animis, dan lain-lain. - The Tboli people (IPA: ['tʔbɔli]) are one of the indigenous peoples of South Cotabato in southern Mindanao. In the body of ethnographic and linguistic literature on Mindanao, their name is variously spelt Tboli, T'boli, Tböli, Tagabili, Tagabilil, Tagabulul and Tau Bilil. Their endonym is Tboli. Their whereabouts and identity are somewhat imprecise in the literature; some publications present the Tboli and the Tagabili as distinct peoples; some locate the Tbolis in the vicinity of Lake Buluan in the Cotabato Basin or in Agusan del Norte. The Tbolis, then, reside on the mountain slopes on either side of the upper Alah Valley and the coastal area of Maitum, Maasim and Kiamba. In former times, the Tbolis also inhabited the upper floor of the Alah Valley. After World War II and the arrival of settlers from other parts of the Philippines, they have been gradually pushed to the mountain slopes. As of now, they have almost been expelled from the fertile valley floor. Like their immediate neighbouring tribes, the , Blàan, , , and the Tasaday, they have been variously termed hill tribes, pagans, animists, etc., as opposed to indigenous Muslim peoples or Christian settlers. In political contexts, however, the word "Lumad" (from the Cebuano for native people) has become a popular umbrella term for the various indigenous peoples of Mindanao. (en)
- De T'boli (ook wel Tboli of Tiboli) is een van de inheemse bevolkingsgroepen van de Filipijnen. De T’boli leven tegenwoordig in het hooggebergte van regio SOCCSKSARGEN in het zuiden van het eiland Mindanao. Voor de komst van de islam vanaf de 14e eeuw woonden ze ook in het laagland. Om bekering tot de islam te vermijden werden ze echter gedwongen om te vluchten naar de bergen. Volgens gegevens van het National Museum of the Philippines waren er in 1991 nog ruim 68 duizend T'boli. De T'boli hebben een eigen taal, het , dat zich onderscheidt van andere doordat er veel gebruikgemaakt wordt van diftongs en de letter f. De T'boli kennen vanouds een landbouwcultuur, waarbij men door het platbranden van stukken woud landbouwgrond creëert. Het vrijgemaakte stuk grond wordt vervolgens enkele jaren zonder enig bemesting gebruikt als landbouwgrond om gewassen zoals rijst, graan, yam en cassave te verbouwen. Daarnaast houden ze ook gedomesticeerde dieren en verzamelen ze nog voedsel door de jacht en visserij.
